Short Review: Jane Eyre By Charlotte Bronte
The words I could say and the words I would say...this darling tome...
So much happened in this book to fit into the little biased box that is a review, but I can say that Charlotte Bronte is brilliant and I can say that Jane Eyre is glorious and I can even say (but it is oh so hard) that Rochester had redeemable qualities (but I don't really think he did). I thought long and hard about what exactly I should say in this review and decided that less is more for Jane. Looking back, I loved the story and most (ugh Rochester) of the characters, but at the time when I was reading, I had a difficult time trudging through the profound language and deeply saturnine words that are Charlotte Bronte's. The story was dark and it was gloomy, but it was just wonderful all in all!
